| I took steven to the ferry to go back to NYC on his day earlier flight and Me Bob and Mom went down to go snorkeling off the shore of our peninsula. It wasn't the best wildlife snorkeling but I liked it because there was no one else and it was all ours |

| yes the ATM fees on the island are $6 where as in NYC it might be $3 |

| average price for gas at this time at the end of may 2022 in new york state was $4.85 and the high a few weeks later would be $4.93 and here its $5.61so it coulda been $6 gas at the high point.... |

we returned our vehicles, drank some more pain killers, saw this guy playing with his dog at the Cruz bay dock as we waited for the ferry to St Thomas to fly back home.

| a parting shot from Casa Cielo. Thank you mom and dad for paying A LOT for this house for the week and planning this trip that forced all 3 of us to slow down, stop working, and enjoy this slow beautiful island. The weather, the company, the drinks, the view, and the vibes were all impeccable. I think about this trip from time to time and how truly free from work and the world I felt, just having drinks with my pals and making jokes and laughing and my parents are in the background relaxing and all is right with the world. |
