Motown Birthday

Had a Motown themed birthday party with my roommate Tae.  Borrowed some real photography gear like strobe lights from James Chang pictured here.  I have a wireless remote so I set up my room as a photo booth for the party.

Life Inside the Polar Vortex

Life inside the Polar Vortex.  I think this is a new word they made up this year.  It's some kind of phenomenon where it makes winter really cold and sh!tty.  And boy what a horrible winter it was.
Cheese addiction is getting expensive.  Also my fault for going to dean and deluca of all places.

A surprise gift from my old roommate Naoki in Tokyo

Japanese people are too nice.  He sent me a shi shi mai decorative cloth, a wooden Doraemon toy, a spinning top, origami paper.  Thanks Naoki!

The hawk of Henry street.  A bunch of people were taking photos.  As it was flying away I saw two female cops rushing over with their phones out saying they always miss it.

take the polar vortex with you!  But alas it did not and more harsh winter is in store for New York
