Korea On Fleek 2023 - Seoul Friday Night

we hoofed it back to Sinchon which is around Yonsei University where we partied and lived and ate very day for a year back in 2002. We met special surprise guest Sebastiaan Van Der Kock.

Van Der Kock is now married and has a kid and lives in Germany

Van Der Kock said oh yea I know all about SoMaek (Soju + Maekju = SoMaek) and i was like ok i guess he knows what he's doing by asking for more and more and pounding them. So we obliged. Here's a first person view of regret.

We went to Su Noraebang but luckily we discovered before we reserved a room that there's NO ALCOHOL! I saw Yoon this weekend and he says he can't remember there being no alcohol and can't imagine we'd stand for that the times we've been.

bob said this was his fav seoul experience singing/shouting into the night with Van Der Kock and JP and Steven. At the end of the night as we were leaving we discovered JP paid the whole bill when he left earlier and Jen discovered Van Der Kock at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the street. He in fact got wasted on all those SoMaeks and much more in the room and fell down the stairs. We also saw his Uber and there was the logo of baskin robbins coming for him and we thought he was so drunk he just ordered icecream delivery instead of a taxi home. The next day he said the taxi tried to rip him off and he got out at some apt complex and had to ask someone to help him to get another taxi. He also had to go to the hospital for his ankle and they said he can't walk for a few days. He said his wife was really p!ssed. What a way to spend several days on your Seoul vacation. If i was Van Der Kock's mom or wife i'd say you're not allowed to hang out with Jason Raish anymore. And to be fair also Steven Hedley.
