Bartlett's always wanted to go to the King Cole room in the St Regis hotel bar so we did before Annelle Miller's leaving do. They have a huge Maxfield Parish painting in there. It's a bummer cuz we didn't really like hanging out there and also its the birthplace of the Red Snapper, a bloody mary with gin instead because the same French barman left the bar where he invented the Bloody mary to work here

Anelle Miller was the society of illustrators director for 16 years and is stepping down.

another Mother's day Ikebana. We also helped dad build a bench for father's day but there's no photos of that.

finally packed and shipped all the 2023 Black Student Illustrators Award fundraiser prints. It's always SO much work. I have to find like 40 pieces of huge unbroken cardboard that's the right thickenss and weight and cut it down to size to fit into these shippers so that the shipping cost isn't much higher for buyers thus dissuading some of them from buying prints. On top of getting the prints made and signed and negotiating with vendors etc. 

there's not a lot of photos from here because I was working non stop all my waking hours for months on my book for Big Picture Press that's like 50 illustrations in my detailed style and it almost ruined my life but more on that later. Ryan, Trish, Dave agreed to dogsit Dubu on our 2 week asia trip. They also watered the garden moved the car and house sat. I made this poster for the epic task at hand that we owe them so much for.
