Poland Part 2

This was a hippie wedding so they rented their friend's property complete with lake and sauna

i think these are placki ziemniaczane potato pancakes

2 of their friends live kind of off the grid and have a huge garden and brought all the stuff for several batches of stew.

Marco was in my Japanese language class in tokyo in 2010 and we hung out every day for a year. Then I lived with him in Barcelona for a summer and visited him several times in Madrid. He visited me in Paris and in NYC. He and I both thought he'd be bouncing from relationship to relationship for the rest of his life but he found someone and I'm so happy for him.

a traditional polish batter spinning cake, Sękacz

dance party of course. sauna and hot tub time. bride and groom games, a traditional big group dance, DJ friend mashing up polish music and modern hits, vodka (although not a crazy amount), weed here and there, good times.

4 spaniards came for Marcos wedding and we all drove back to Poznan for the day.

KFC dos tacos. Also marco said many of the chinese restaurants here are run by polish people which is crazy.

Carl Jung cabernet sauvignon wine, and it's alcohol free?

buying booze for the wedding. It was amazing how much non alcoholic booze there was. alcohol free vodka, alcohol free wine, even alcohol free prosecco and even aperol for making spritzes. I guess Poland is healing after a history of alcohol abuse.
