The Pandemic Continues into Autumn - Part 2

haven't seen this for sale but really want

Jen says this is a classic Hawaii drink. found at the Japanese market at industry city.

we were invited to Bartlett's new house now that he moved to the Philly area, and sleep in a tent in his yard. What a pal. We ate at least 4 cheese steaks from 4 places.

day 1, Pat's vs Genos. Can't remember which one but all i know is our stomachs won

Katie didn't have room for all her library of plants so gave us a bunch

day 2 Sonny's vs Jim's, one of these was better but i can't remember which and remeber thinking that you can't go wrong either way. I think i ate 2.5 cheese steaks this day cuz i brought some back for Jen

got the box I illustrated for Flipfit

Bob got a Nintendo Switch Lite at the beginning of the pandemic which is smaller and can't connect to a TV so we convinced him to get a Switch normal. So now he owns 2 nintendo switches. Steven also bought 2 switches over the pandemic because of a series of events. I've only bought one and consider myself lucky.

oh hey Mr. Turtle

staredown with a racoon

Pandemic and WFH therapy is seeing him with his legs crossed when you go to get water

The Pandemic Continues into Autumn - Part 1

i'll be playing civilization 6 for quite a while. only able to win by score and domination. Steven was able to win by religion once and bob by science. Culture and diplomacy remain elusive

one of the big pandemic staple items to hoard were dried beans. makin quasi chili bean stews is a thing i been doin

next day

MTA art cards for sale. It's 2022 and the park line version is sold out and theres 10 left of the market version

we have new neighbors and this is their catio

comfort nuggets. At the beginning of the pandemic it was scary going into mcdonald's and anywhere so this might be a photo of the one time i took a chance after not having nuggets for months. FYI i love nuggets as you know if you are a reader of this blog

first batch of MTA posters sent out, it is kinda a tough hustle selling physical product. you have to research the best tubes for the price, the craft wrapping paper, the best shipping methods for national and international. determine if you go USPS (which is a crapshoot but cheaper) or go UPS which is reliable but more expensive. Set up with an ecommerce site (i've been using big cartel that allows 2 free listings), connect it with paypal, answer questions and queries, missing or damaged packages, returned to sender tubes, schleping to the post office many times with ikea bags full of tubes, waiting and sweating in line in the post office with 20 other people in a still questionable pandemic. Also storing all these materials in your small brooklyn apt. Multiply by all the other products you might be selling.

down by industry city a scene of immense human suffering, the Metropolitan Detention Center. labeled MDC on googlemaps so you can't know what it is. These are signs put up by families of the incarcerated. Very sad scene for the gamut of reasons

a lot of dumplings eaten in the pandemic

Hey Jen, having a good time at our 14 hr civilization 6 party?
