| first batch of MTA posters sent out, it is kinda a tough hustle selling physical product. you have to research the best tubes for the price, the craft wrapping paper, the best shipping methods for national and international. determine if you go USPS (which is a crapshoot but cheaper) or go UPS which is reliable but more expensive. Set up with an ecommerce site (i've been using big cartel that allows 2 free listings), connect it with paypal, answer questions and queries, missing or damaged packages, returned to sender tubes, schleping to the post office many times with ikea bags full of tubes, waiting and sweating in line in the post office with 20 other people in a still questionable pandemic. Also storing all these materials in your small brooklyn apt. Multiply by all the other products you might be selling. |
