Gay Paree 2024 day 2

Pigeons are from france and someone has lost their tame pigeon named Poulpée. It says he needs humans to live and may enter a house to survive and the gmail address they made is find poulpee @ gmail

one of several cafe's we'd go to every morning in Butte aux Cailles. Gotta have my several noisettes! (espresso with a hazelnut sized dollop of steamed milk)

we finally go the bikes working and off we went. Bob does not like riding bikes cuz of his myriad of problems including wearing trifocal lenses and peripheral vision and on and on.

Falafel at the classic L'As du fallafel in Le Marais.

National archives museum is free so we looked around

Stopped by Inventaire where ryan has several art prints available. There were other illustrators we know represented in there too like Ilya Milstein.

back on bikes and up past canal st martin to canal l'ourq where we learned that bob was right and that it was not petanque paradise and is part of the Paris Plague thing now so theres umbrellas and deck chairs and people actually using them. This place had dedicated petanque courts but they were all being used. So that was a big bust and we did have fun drinking at the very neighborhoody Bar Ourcq who lends out balls which we did only to find it aint petanque paradise anymore.

We were able to get a reservation at Le Verre Vole and had amazing purée maison (potato purée) and black pudding.

oh and i finally got this paris map shirt at Brut Archives that i've been fed many times on instagram

back at Butte aux Cailles at one of the bars that seems random and all the same.
