3rd fast 3 miler with the boy

new year new shoes. I had the Trace 3s and these are the Brooks Trace 4s. I never paid attention to heel drop when buying shoes and it turns out that these shoes have like a 12 mm heel drop which makes you strike your heel down on the pavement more than the front of your food which is bad for most people cuz you're shocking your knees. After several weeks running in these i had to stop running for a couple weeks and it finally dawned on me that the knees problem came with these shoes. New new shoes coming up.

I often wake up and think i see things in the room or outside and a bunch of times i've thought the apt across the way there was something but its always just this. Something about the combo of silhouettes makes my lizard sleeping brain have psychosis. I took this photo convinced and then zoomed in and sighed and went back to sleep.
