Pandemic Adventures

Jen actually agreed to go on an overnight camping hike with us so I knew I had to make it as comfortable as possible so I went on craigslist/facebook marketplace and found these sweet hiking packs. The Gregory one is brand new even
the next day i found this kelty one in front of our apt but its a lot bigger and for like a week long hike or something
was a mistake taking 3.5 lbs of potatoes. They were awesome tho being cooked in the fire and shoved full of butter after many drinks
saucisson at the peak

boy's first overnight hike

saw a vid of someone cooking steak on a rock so we were determined to do it. Found the perfect rock at the peak (not a river rock) and it still slightly fractured, but nicely cleaved so it still was the perfect cooking surface. These steaks they said were one of the best they've ever had, the 5 mile really hot summer hike to get to the peak im sure skewed our judgement. There was a nice breeze at the top so it stoked the fire nice and hot so we got a good browning on the steaks

we want to be close to you all the time too buddy

good for you buddy

jen was not having a good time

just having a dandy time havin drinks, laughing. We got out into the bay, frolicked on a little hidden beach, then tried to return. We were out so long the tide had changed and was going against us again. It was incredibly hard to move. we were out in the middle of the bay and a boat going by saw jen having a hard time and asked if she needed a ride and she said yea and got on. Jen got rescued at sea. Steven and I used all of our energy to slowly paddle back to the canal.
once in the canal we saw jen that they dropped off at the boat gas station. The current was so strong that if you stopped paddling for 1 stroke you'd start going backwards. I dont know how we chugged along for 2 hrs up the canal and made it. The place called me and i said we'd be late. they were closed when we got there but there was a guy that had to wait for us so he took our boards and peeled out probably to some party. Respect the ocean they said, to me and steven twice now. I guess we'll learn

still alive and still had energy for karaoke once Liza arrived that night
