there goes jenny on her first day of pottery class. We are fortunate to have one of the few pottery studios in NYC down the street from us and Jen expressed interest in doing pottery again like she used to. For a year she was stuck in the house cuz of the pandemic and there was a big change when she had a creative outlet and physical change of location to go to every saturday and sunday and some weekdays after work. Fast forward to 2022 and she's taken maybe 6 semesters of classes now and this very hands on ancient art form keeps her going. Gasworks pottery studio might have saved our lives? I am SO happy that she found her thing.

During the pandemic there was a period where peeps made meme stocks popular (stonks) like gamestop stock which was a failing company and people rallied around it for the lolz, sticking it to the rich investors, cuz they were bored, cuz they had stimulus check money, and other reasons. It worked and these stocks skyrocketed but in the end almost everyone lost a lot of money
