End 'O' the Year

Ok this is the end of 2017 and a lil bit of 2018

the Bartlett's and Bob came over for New Year's eve gamjatang and drinks cuz we all didn't have a better plan and we are old and married.  Bob was gonna go to a young person's party with Foo but he ended up chillin' with his cousins.

we got drunk on the beer we brewed which feel awesome but not the next morning.

Barlett is a record collector so he brought some over including saturday night fever.  We went to a bar down the street after watching a bizzaro ball drop with "celebs" none of us have ever heard of on the live stream provided by the times square alliance, I guess that's what you get for free streaming.

the next day was January 1st, and with a hangover and just being exhausted from Korea and the holidays we had to begrudgingly bottle our cider which had been aging in the closet for 2 months.

wake me up when it's all over.

we've used the instant pot like 6 times in one month already.  This is the only photo of the Filipino adobo chicken.

the pot that I bought for gamjatang and the like for the portable gas grill was crap and crapped out after one use so we said ok we need a quality lifetime solution and its awesome that it ended up being a Le Creuset 3.5 quart braiser.  It's enameled cast iron and I found it on ebay for $200 (they go for 3) and it is in mint condition.  These pots last lifetimes and the name Le Creuset rings out in the streets down through the ages.

Ok 2018 let's see what you've got in store for us.  Jenny is going back to school for a year and I'm going to keep hustling on the illustration side of things.
