These guys from Seattle the New Gospel Keyes were super amazing.  beautiful harmonizing

these guys kept passing around the guitar and all had their own thing going on.  That guy with the v-neck tee on had an amazingly gifted voice.  slide guitar and violin player on the right was a genius and so was the piano and harmonica player.

going to cuba!  10% charge on american dollars in cuba means its smarter to get a bunch of euros to exchange into cuban convertible pesos (CUC).  See you in Cuba!

Up and Down

Upstate and downstate

Wacom USA replaced my intuos 5 touch tablet because it kept losing connection.  I feel that it's a horrible design flaw to have the USB connection right there on the right hand side because it wiggles around and your hand always hits it.

these communication arts awards are seriously heavy.  I got one for my Andrew Carnegie portrait for the smithsonian

junk yard next to Lowes on smith 9th streets.

looks like howl's moving castle

after our trip upstate the weekend before we ended up doing a west village wine tasting

something like 46$ worth of groceries from Trader Joes

went to a bbq party at colossal media, the company that hand paints all the billboards you see around new york.  They painted Jonathan Bartlett's work on the side of the ralph lauren building.

various straps they use while they are swinging stories above the city

Clay Rodery was chillin too
took the metro north to poughkipsee to meet my moms who was over there for a teaching thing.  This time the trip upstate was for sad circumstances.  Gramps passed away.  2.5 years ago they gave him 6 weeks to live but the bone cancer finally took its toll.  Rest in peace Robert Raish Sr.
automatic car wash
discovered the Almond dam has this park area.  In a wes anderson like scene bob and i were hanging out in our suits by this lake between funeral viewings.
what's this?  crabs?

Upstate June

Took a trip upstate to see the fam and an ultra sick grampa

my dad's dad was a plumber for the City of Hornell and then did code enforcement for Hornell and Canisteo.  Then after retirement he went into the private sector and started a plumbing business with our uncle.  He had a stint as a semi truck driver for a little bit before that.
picked up Jen from binghamton in the parents BMW Z3
literally 100 yards over the Pennsylvania border at a gas station.  Fireworks are illegal in New York

the parents pond they made a few years ago is an entire eco system now.  TONS of frogs, dragon flies, bugs of all sorts, plant life, and even a great blue heron(we think)

lighting bugs

smaller different species of frog

parents getting complete kitchen renovation done.  Helped them paint in between the contractor's cabinet installation
moms needed a better photo for school cuz Brody is one of their 3 therapy dogs.  What a well trained guy, he was easily the easiest dog to photograph.  He sat there a few minutes without fussing at all.

picking herbs from the garden for BBQ time

corn, ribs, zucchini, peppers, baby bella mushrooms
maybe this isn't news, but i saw this done in Japan at a BBQ.  I'm sure they were different mushrooms cuz they were filled to the brim with their own juices but these baby bellas filled with natural juice, butter, garlic and various herbs was pretty awesome, a flavor i've never had or imagined before.  I was pretty chuffed I must say.
laying in our hay field on a clear night

testing out some illegal goods from Pennsylvania.
