Spring Flowers

the back of Jen's old apt.  The new tenant put a sign in the window, Jen thought it was a for sale sign.  at 20 megapixels I was able to do a creeper move and zoom in to see it's a Black Lives Matter sign.  This area is used as a parking lot and has a mechanical gate and a Chinese lady was walking by and said something to us in Cantonese wanting to know what we wanted and we said nothing and she immediately started the process of the gate closing.  No good can come from people snooping around and empty lot and she knows it.

Smith/9th streets

saw this vintage 1932 add in a Carroll Gardens store window.

the first croquet of the season

absolutely everyone was in Prospect park clinging to this warm joyous day like it was life or death, and for good reason because after this day it got cold again.  Everyone I know on social media was showing up as being in prospect park.  gross

it took a LONG time for them to get this piñata open.  It was one tough bastard, they kept hitting it to no avail until finally they had to just break it open.  We need a piñata!

someone was VERY excited about the flowers

breakfast at cobble hill coffee shop on court street.  It's an ok quality diner

what's going on here?  A morbid joker died and requested this be displayed?  What a weird thing to have on your stoop

Do you think you love your dog?  Look at this photo and ask yourself just how much you do.

the view from my office.  magnolias and tulips

trying to work on a personal Japan illustration and these guys that I got in Kyoto at the Fushimi Inari shrine factor into it.

as does this ema votive tablet I got from there as well.  Your'e supposed to write your wishes on it and hang it at the shrine

I guess this plant searches out water.  I'll update again when it's filled with roots.  My life is so exciting now.  Just slap a floral moo moo on me and call me a grandma and I would pass.
