today is September 1st, I have lived in Beijing for 1 year and 3 months. In 28 days I will move to Tokyo, Japan. Also in 28 days I will be able to fill in this guy's other eye. This Daruma doll has been sitting on my desk staring at me these last three months reminding me how hard i have to work to get that $ to move to Tokyo. By lots of hard work and luck I more than passed my monetary goal which is amazing, so I'm goin' to Japan! I will be studying at a japanese language school 3 hours a day to get my visa, which is killing 2 birds with one stone because I need a visa and I need to learn Japanese. I will continue doing freelance illustration and hopefully my luck will keep going. For the first three months I will be there on a tourist visa and will be traveling and soaking in Japan. Then in January the Japanese school program will start. I have a lot to get done before i move in 4 weeks but there will be some fun stuff coming up soon here on the blog.
