Summer Continues

new big outdoor bar in town, it's right by the gowanus canal on union and it's called swan dive.  it was full and happenin' so it looks like they're doing well.  I would come back here again

The lucky kids in south carroll gardens sweet sweet playground.  Imagine all the fun you can have playing on that asphalt with the subway bridge girders and no playground.

Tune Yards and Shabazz Palaces played the last free concert of the summer in prospect park.

Shabazz Palaces are in the experimental hip hop catergory but I like to call it intergalactic hip hop.  They're sound is not mainstream at all and being a big fan it was cool to see these lesser known guys from Digable Planets getting some recognition.

We saw illustrator buddy Lily Padula on line and we sat with them, other iller Natalie Andrewson was there too.
