Tokyo 3rd day

Look at this subway map. no english kind of complicated. makes for great fun

we went to akihabara, its the electronics district. its where you go to find anime freaks, otaku, and just plain freaks. nerds, and geeks are also abundant. they even still sell these cassette players.

venting machine selling naughting things like this bondage girl. it was $5 !

like everywhere there are people on the sidewalks trying to sell you stuff or get you to go somewhere.

i walked by this girl and said oh man she has gotta be so hot in that thing because it is balls hot now and she's in the sun. little did i know that i would literally feel her pain one day later.

we went to a maid cafe, where all the girls are dressed up as maids and play the whole stupid and shy thing to appeal to people who like that kind of thing. it was wasn't really that great, plus the maid thing doesn't really turn my crank. the girl outside was either good at her job or really was a quite always looking down shy cute little maid girl.

they write whatever you want on your omurice in ketchup. They wrote I love Jason. they said no taking pictures. I saw on the menu that its $5 to take a picture with them and $10 to get a DVD made of you talking to them for 3 minutes. How sad and weird.

after that we went to Harajuku, the place to go shopping, made famous/infamous by Gwen Stefani. it was crazy packed and sweaty. its kind of madness at a lot of places.

this place was crazy because there was loud music pumping from every store and they are right next to each other. there were girls with signs shouting at you to come to their store in front of everystore. they were waving signs around. there were tons of people and bright colors and shiny things and flashing lights and over stimulation aplenty.

little akari's cafe

here's some interesting package designs

this is one of my favorite pictures. i took a couple pics of him and then he turned around to look at me at the right moment. this guy is for sure getting drawn in my new project.

more awesome subway map action.

look i found an umbrella and am protecting myself from UV gobbly monsters that will rape my skin and give it UV noogies and wedgies.

we are on our way to Yokohama, a city about 30 min away from tokyo. its by the water. our friend Yuko lives there and we are all going to this fireworks festival. we were unsure about what the beer situation would be there with thousands of people attending so we bought a fat bag of beer before we left harajuku and started drinking them on the train at 4 pm in the afternoon. this would result in me getting very iniberated by the time our night was over, especially after our midnight club party back in tokyo.

this is the kind of girl i want to meet. Japanese bikini girls in Samurai helmet that will cut little jason off for giggles. now that turns my crank.

akari said that these girls were wearing more modern kimonos with moderns patterns but they werent wearing them very well. and i agree, sloppy.

this mo fo was so cute.

by the time this thing got filled up it was a challenge to make it to the bathrooms because you had to walk carefully btwn the mats and jump over stuff. they really pack it in in japan.

you can't really tell in this photo but this guy was super dark. he was a little guy too. it looked like someone burnt their teryayaki stick and dressed it up in a motorcycle outfit.

all FIT people.

hahah. this is little takashi -kun. his rubics cube fell apart and he was trying to put the last few pieces back together. I told akari to tell them that my brother bob can do the whole thing in like 1:14 seconds or something like that bob always had a rubics cube as a child and that little takashi kun just needs to practice, you know to make him feel better because he was not getting those pieces together. all of this was happening while we were drinking more beer on the train in front of them and they loved us. its ok to drink on the train. Japan, what a place.

enter Yuri Ito!

good ol' yuri lives in tokyo now

i will spare you the many pics of us doing stupid poses. by the end of the night i was getting people we don't know to do this and dancing like a fool. i spilled something on my crotch also which seems to happen too often. It was a crazy fun night. I love the cheerful, friendly fun loving Japanese.
